About Our Transportation Experience
The group's activity in public transportation began in 1992
with the establishment of Salem Juma Public Transport
Company. It was initially focused on domestic transportation
within Iraq. With the growth of the transportation sector in
Iraq, other companies within the group were established,
namely Al-Sahel Al-Mutawassit Company, Anwar Al-Hadara
Company, Al-Abrag Al-Barriya Company, and Mahd Al-Hadara
Company. These companies entered into a series of contracts
related to oil-for-food exchange from 1992 until 2002. They
were responsible for transporting a portion of the
government's food supplies through contracts with the
General Company for Land Transportation in Iraq and the
General Company for Grain Trade. They transported goods from
Ma'an in Jordan, Tartous in Syria, in addition to Iraqi
ports such as Um Qasr and Abu Flus, as well as land border
crossings. After 2003, the companies' activities continued
and focused on internal transportation. They entered into
contracts with the Ministry of Trade to transport flour from
Iraqi mills to the ministry's warehouses and then to
distribution agents in different regions. The group also
contracted with the Ministry of Health to transport
medicines and medical supplies in refrigerated trucks from
the ministry's warehouses to Iraqi hospitals in all
provinces. These contracts are still ongoing. Furthermore,
the transportation companies within the group are
responsible for transporting food products produced by other
companies within the group, such as the Iraqi National
Company, which transports its products to all provinces, and
Al-Hadara Company for Grain Milling, which transports wheat
from Iraqi silos to Al-Hadara Company. User give me a title
